Software will be configured to make Backups to a portable Drive. There is no need to start any backups manually. As soon as you connect the external drive all backups will automatically execute.

NAS BACKUP
A NAS device (Networked Attacehd Storage device) contains hard drives and are connected to the computer network.
Single Drive NAS.
Only one hard drive is contained in the storage unit to which backups will be made.
RAID NAS.
Multiple hard drives are containted in storage unite to which backups will be made. If only one drive fails your backups can still be retrieved from the other drives.
PROS
- The NAS device can be hidden away or even locked in a special backup safe to protect it from theft
- All computers and servers on the network can use the NAS device for backups.
CONS
- Both Primary data and backus are kept at the same location. In case of fire, lightning damage or theft all data can be lost.
Private Cloud Backup

- Data can easily be access at a 2nd or 3rd locaton.
- Data can easily backed up to an off-site location under your control
- Backups are executed without any user intervention required.
CONS
- Data are backuped up over an ADSL line so additional bandwidth cost might be incurred.
- Backups take a longer time to execute when send to remote locatons.
